The Family Center at Community Connections of Brockton works as part of  the  network of Massachusetts Family Resource Centers (FRCs). Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are a statewide network of community-based providers offering multi-cultural parenting programs, support groups, early childhood services, information and referral resources and education for families whose children range in age from birth to 18 years of age.

Rental Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT)
On March 25th, Governor Baker announced new funding under the Residential Assistance to Families in Transition (RAFT) program. This funding will provide short-term emergency financial assistance for families and individuals to stabilize their situations. This program will help eligible Homeowners and Renters by assisting with mortgage payments, rent, utility bills, and other costs.

Columbia Gas
 In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, effectively immediately Columbia Gas suspend shut-offs.  Suspension will apply to residential, commercial and industrial customers and will remain in effect until further notice. In addition, Columbia Gas will offer its most flexible payment plans to customers who indicate either an impact or hardship as a result of COVID-19. Columbia Gas will continue to monitor current events and support our customers and communities.

Food 
Pandemic EBT
P-EBT is a federal program that provides food support to help families with children who were receiving free and reduced-priced school meals pay for food.  This includes any student in a school that provides free meals to all students.

WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children. Our nutrition program provides nutrition and health education, healthy food and other services FREE of charge to pregnant and breastfeeding women and kids under age 5, who qualify. WIC is for all kinds of families: single or married, working or not working. If you are a father, mother, grandparent, foster parent or other legal guardian of a child under 5, you can enroll in WIC for your child.
